Barn Owl This owl could have flown straight from a Harry Potter movie. He can even turn his head around 360 degrees! A wonderful gift for owl lovers and children who are enchanted by soft toys (like, all of them!), our Barn Owl is beautifully handmade by craftsmen using high quality materials. Softer than soft, he conforms to all European safety standards, and is surface washable, too. Measuring approximately 22cm high, ‘Barney’ sports the heart-shaped face, buff and grey wings and pure white underparts of his real life relatives. Barney enjoys outings in the countryside, and hunting mice, voles and shrews from the edges of fields and verges! He makes an ideal gift for lovers of owls, and for children who are enchanted by soft toys (like, all of them!). As with all our Dowman Soft Touch items, Barney is fairly traded with the people and countries of manufacture. This soft toy is not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts. Did you know? The barn owl population has suffered in the UK due to intensive agricultural practices. However, the good news is that populations are beginning to increase in some areas.
